About the position:

Are you a marketing passionate seeking a new challenge? Do you have a FMCG background and experience?

Reporting to the Spain Marketing Director, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Develop an annual marketing plan for the company’s strategic brands acting as the “brand leader”, defining clear objectives, strategy and action plan.
  • Develop branding strategies and activations for the OFF and ON TRADE channel
  • Develop branding strategies in line with global branding strategies and monitor brand effectiveness and productivity
  • Adaptation of international marketing concepts and strategies to the national market, including all ATL and BTL activations.
  • Monitoring of markets, segments and products in order to prepare brand performance analyzes and reports.
  • Perform an annual analysis for the market segment of brands, using internal and external information, in order to detect problems and opportunities.
  • Manage the relationship with the media purchasing agency, creative and digital agencies and evaluate the proposals to develop our brands in Spain.
  • Manage projects on time and within budget.
  • Budget planning and control, as well as project-based calculations and cost control.
  • Close cooperation with international departments and multifunctional teams in Spain such as; Trade Marketing, Sales, Logistics, for activities that include: exhibition development and promotion, launch of new brands / products / SKUs, leftover stock, etc.
  • Ensure the timely preparation of presentations, quarterly reports, business cases, arguments for decision-making and reporting, as well as to keep the National and International Board timely informed.
  • Manage and supervise promotions along with Trade Marketing (channel promotions) and Marketing Manager / Marketing Director (consumer promotions).

Your profile:

  • Degree in Business Administration / Economics, Marketing and Advertising or similar).
  • MBA will be a plus
  • High command of English & Spanish, both spoken and written
  • Knowledge of German or an additional language will be highly appreciated
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, in the Marketing department in FMCG, ideally in the beverage sector.
  • Knowledge OFF and ON trade channels.
  • Experience in activating actions (ATL and BTL)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, both internally and externally, with all management levels
  • Negotiation and influence skills
  • Familiar with the implementation of promotional activity in the main national accounts of modern distribution.
  • Experience in NIELSEN / IRI data management and analysis
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and digital campaign management
  • High command of Microsoft Office
  • Availability to travel frequently nationally.
